AG-27 Improv - Temporary Implant cement 6g $85.50
IMPROV is temporary cement that is ideal for use with implant restoration(s). It offers strength and predictability and reduces the risk of loose crowns and improper seating. IMPROV is available in a dual barrel delivery system eliminating the mess and inaccuracy of a two tube mixing. There is no interference of color with IMPROV even on all ceramic restorations since it is neutral white. IMPROV never crystallizes or becomes grainy like some temporary cement. Since IMPROV is Eugenol free, it can be used with temporary, acrylic crowns allowing you to add additional acrylic for margins with clean up being simple and efficient.
-
Although IMPROV is temporary cement, it is characterized by its strength and security during the treatment phase.

-
After attaching the provided static mixing tip to the dual barrel syringe, IMPROV can be easily dispensed and a thin, even spread on the internal surface of the restoration.
-
Then provisionally cementing metal to metal fixed restorations, coat the casting with a thin layer of lubricating / releasing agent, such as petroleum jelly or Vaseline prior to placing the IMPROV. This will aid in future retrieval.
-
IMPROV offers a consistent working time of approximately 90 seconds and eliminates the frustration associated with premature setting.
-
One of the most appreciated feature of IMPROV is the effective clean up of both hard and soft tissue. Since IMPROV is Eugenol free, there is ease and accuracy removing any excess cement. This can be accomplished with an explorer tip or any tapered instrument. -
After seating the restoration into its ideal position, IMPROV should be left undisturbed for 1 - 2 minutes prior to removing any excess cement. Maximum setting time has been estimated to be 3 minutes.
-
The static mixing tip should be removed and the cap replaced on the dual barrel syringe. IMPROV should be stored at room temperature.
-
When crown(s) retrieval is necessary, IMPROV will permit removal with the aid of a hemostat and a slight twisting motion.
Patients should be given home care instructions and reminded the restoration(s) is in a temporary, provisional phase.
